Globe Specs Summer 2019 Collection
Globe Specs have just released their new summer 2019 collection of eyewear. These new models are fully handmade in Japan out of titanium, acetate, and nickel alloy. They've really stepped up the detailing on their glasses with this new collection and they now come in custom hard cases. We have reproductions of glasses worn by Buddy Holly, Paul Weller, John Lennon, and more.
These five new models including restocks of all past models are available now at all of our stores.

Roy's RT2 Slim Tapered Jeans
We have new Roy jeans landing at all stores this Friday. This new release is Roy's take on a contemporary slim tapered jean fit. These have a medium rise and a slim leg with some taper below the knee for a small leg opening. The fabric on these jeans is a 13.5oz loomstate denim which Roy designed from the ground up. Cone did not have or could not produce the selvedge id thread color so Roy had another company manufacture just the single thread that goes through the selvedge line and had the thread shipped to Cone to use on his denim.
The warp yarns are made of a conventional American cotton while the weft is made of Supima cotton giving the fill threads an off-white cast. Supima is a longer staple cotton so we're thinking it will be less prone to stretching out and knee bagging. The fabric for the pocket bags were also custom designed and produced for this jean. They're an undyed (natural) ring-ring 3x1 twill that is loomstate and will be cut in a way where it shrinks with the jean. The pocket bags are a 10oz 3x1 cotton twill which is 100% ring spun, undyed, and unsanforized.
These jeans come with a 5oz cowhide patch, freehand embroidered "Roy" and size number on the pocket bag, lined rear and coin pockets, solid copper rivets, and mil-spec blackened brass buttons.

Fine Creek Horsehide James Jacket
One of the most anticipated releases of the year has landed at all of our stores. The new James model from Fine Creek is produced of a 1.3mm custom horsehide and lined with a cool feeling cupra liner, perfect for all-climate wear.

Thanks, Mike! I saw those got released. I keep meaning to try that cut. I have too many jeans and not enough legs right now, so I will probably hold out for later. But good lookin’ out! I surely appreciate the effort. Let us know how you get on with your pair.

I was trying to resist and I held out for about a half an hour. The fully-lined rear pockets, stealth arcs, small leg openings, and the promise of ultra-soft and supple XHS got me. I am thankful I sold those N+F 32 oz jeans… I actually had a little left over from their sale.

The new jeans have arrived. They are so nice. The fit is very roomy compared to the 888 cut. The 888 is a lot slimmer through the thigh, knee, and calf. These will be nice and comfortable. That is what I was hoping for. I am going to go for a big cuff on this pair, I think.

You can see that the fit is nice and relaxed. They definitely need a hot soak(s).
The waist is slightly larger on these compared to the 888 cut.Also, I appreciate what an incredibly perfect job whoever sewed them did. Every single stitch is perfect. I carefully looked these over and there are no little nubs in the denim.
Working backwards, the post office really beat the shit put of the box. But the jeans were fine.
It's too hot to be breaking these in now. And my 888 XHSib are looking and feeling so amazing. So I am going to save this pair for November, for my birthday and start wearing them then.

Iron Heart Overdyed Denim Jackets and 25oz Denim Jeans
This week we have two special releases from Iron Heart. First up we have a super heavy weight 25oz selvedge denim which has been made into the 633 straight tapered fit. Iron Heart's 25oz denim has a great feel to it and is still wearable for being such a heavy weight jean.
We also have a new run of the SEXIH07IIIBK2 overdyed 18oz denim Type III jacket. This is a modified Type III body with a little extra length in the body and hand pockets added.

This Thursday, July 25th, we’ll be holding a trunk show with Good Art and Fine Creek Leathers at our New York store from noon to 6pm. Fine Creek will have their spring/summer 2020 collection available for pre-order and Good Art will have some pre-release items for sale along with samples available to pre-order from their FW19 line.

Introducing Masahiro Maruyama - Disorderly Eyewear from Japan
Every now and then a line comes along which changes the ideas of what a certain product could be like, how it could function, and how it could be designed and manufactured. To challenge all these aspects in 2019 isn't easy. We've found an eyewear line from Japan which does all of these things by the name of Masahiro Maruyama.
We've been carrying Masahiro Maruyama for nearly two years at our stores but were unable to put any of their eyewear online as they wanted it to be an in-store only collection. We're happy to announce that they've changed this policy and their glasses are now available online.
Mr. Maruyama comes from an eyewear design background and has designed for some very large (more mainstream) collections before breaking off and doing a line under his own name. With this line he challenges the traditional norms of eyewear design from every angle. He draws his designs on paper as opposed to using CAD drawings because he believes eyewear shouldn't be symmetrical because our faces are asymmetrical. His designs are playful, creative, and different in almost every way from any eyewear line we've seen. All the frames are made in a small factory in Japan using domestic titanium and acetate and fully finished by hand for the right level of polish.
We have five models in stock online and about 15 models available in-store at five stores.

Iron Heart Fall Collection, Limited Edition Overdyed Jackets, & More!
Iron Heart has just delivered to us a large selection of new jeans in various denim styles, overdyed jackets and overshirts, natural indigo chambray shirts, corduroy Type III jackets, and more.
We now have their 777 slim tapered jean in stock at our stores. This jean is available in 14oz and 21oz indigo denim styles along with an overdyed 14oz denim.
We also have a very limited run of overdyed modified Type III jackets made of the 23oz denim which was used on the SEXIH13 jean. Only 60 of these jackets were produced and this is the last of the denim from that collaboration.
Along with these jeans and jackets we also have a new 6oz natural indigo organic cotton chambray workshirt and and an 18oz overdyed CPO shirt with hand pockets.
All these items are available now in-store and online.

3sixteen Modified Type III Jacket in Natural Denim
3sixteen has taken their very popular modified Type III jacket and done it in a special 12oz natural undyed denim woven by Japan's famed Kuroki Mills.
