This one seemed to be the perfect fit for a hot 4th of July. Don't adjust your screen. It is blue, or indigo, if you will…
A 5% ABV sour. It does have a flavor reminiscent of Bomb Pops. While, it was refreshing, I don't know that I'd drink it regularly. It leaves your lips and tongue blue, too. -
Followed with this…
The man behind this is half of the duo behind Untitled Art. Here's a little insight into the brand… https://www.goodbeerhunting.com/blog/2017/10/18/dont-call-it-a-sour-funk-factory-geuzeria-in-madison-wi-the-maturation-of-funk-and-the-push-for-american-lambic-blended-to-perfection -
That opinion is ok with me- I'll take an ordinary pale ale over an IPA every time.
Had this last night. The peanut butter was barely an afterthought and the chocolate was strong. Really strong. I couldn't finish it.

Belching Beaver is an average brewery. Can’t think of any of their other beers I want to try. I had their regular peanut butter stout awhile back and it was just ok

They’re having a slight return in Norway with a lot of breweries doing good ones. Half the price of a NEIPA and much more fun.
@neph93 , that rye porter looks mighty tasty.
It was excellent. I’m a fan of rye beers although they’re risky purchases as some din’t work. This was perfectly balanced. I need to pick up some more.

After nearly 2 weeks of heat and humidity, a dry, cool front passed through, this afternoon. I decided to celebrate with a stout…
Gonna be 18C°/ 64F here tomorrow so also celebrating with smoked stout, and fried taters with halloumi cheese and onions w/ Beyond Burgers…
Sounds delicious. Enjoy !

Pliny the Elder on draft…. in Maine?? Yes please.
Decided to have a beer while waiting for a takeout order. Pleasantly surprised to see Pliny.
Then.... the takeout order never came out. Server never put the order in. -
Some batches are not quite as good as others, but Love Child is always a solid buy.

Yeah I was annoyed. But at least I got to have that beer. That beer kind of started a revolution. I’ve had some bottled Pliny before but never on draft. They had a lot of good beers on draft there. Portland Maine is a cool town.

Lol. I love pearls before swine. Also: I miss being able to drink Pliny on tap. Geez.
While waiting for my takeout, I had the absolute tastiest double IPA. Consequences of Humanity DIPA from Burial. So smooth, not at all hot or boozy tasting, but I am buzzin. Genius, as usual.
