Despite being the place where Deep Purple made their legendary live album «Live in Hell» it really is just a crappy little airport service town. They do make the most of their funny name though. Hollywood style lettering on a nearby hillside:

1100km, 34 hours and one night in Hell later We’ve arrived at the major part of our holiday, Stordal where my mother im laws family is from. It is a little village of 1000 peeps not far from Ålesund.As usual it is wet, as usual it is beautiful. I estimate four hours more until I have a rod in my hand.
