• the shitty old fashioned living room gets a make over
• the dining room gets a damp course and plastering
• we have no fucking idea what to do with a sloping suspended wooden floor  ???
• I move some boxes around and try to look busy

So next is the living room, here’s some before pictures to show you what we’re working with…...

Apologies that I don’t have any “in process” pictures for this room, we had to get it decorated in literally 2 days due to an early furniture delivery. The dark green was a bitch to cover, the walls we’re not great and with no time re-plaster we had to go with lining paper for now, this is the result so far…...

We still have an original 1930’s fireplace to be fitted in this room, and we’re considering some “art” for the walls.

Not much been happening in the house due to some drylining and damp work being carried out, just a few touches, including…...

On a side note, I know over the years that some of you have been “thrilled” with my dog walking photos on the old local council park. Well, we’ve got a new spot to walk every day which is a little more interesting and virtually opposite my house!
