Watches - another OCD problem

As for the Omega, I feel like calling the alloy "moonshine gold" wasn't a decision made with the American market in mind.

I don't like how here and with their ceramic they feel the need to call the materials out on the dials of the watches. Otherwise, aside from not using the new 321, if you're gonna do a yellow gold Speedy (and gold is appropriate for a 50th anniversary) I think they did a fairly good job. Even though the black markers set them up for a black bezel, I think the burgundy was an inspired choice. If the dial could somehow have more contrast that would be an improvement.

The hour and minute hands in your image look different. I have seen them gold with black inlay elsewhere.

Speaking of black inlay, I'm assuming the onyx markers leave no room for lume.

I love Speedies and although the applied 60’s logo is cool, the watch is overall very meh.

As for the plastic crystal, I had really good luck with my Speedy and terrible luck with an Ennebi Fondale. I guess it all depends on the composition because the Speedy crystal is def more exposed than that of the Fondale. As for the Max Bill, it’s yet to be seen.

No leaking from Rolex, but my speculation is in no particular order: new movements for the subs, maybe a new Milgauss, but the Rolex Explorer II is in need of a ceramic bezel and the Air King is in no-mans land.

Is anyone familiar with Seoul and watch shopping there? In particular: Shilla Dutyfree Main Store or Shinsegae Department Store.
