IH-8301S - SBG "Super Black Fade-To-Gray" Denim - Slim Cut

Hey guys, I need some help.
Looking into taking the plunge into the 8301S, I'm looking at a size 30 or 31.
Currently wear a 31 in the 301S-14, I have room in my thighs and my waist.
I also have 31 in the 633S-21 and they are much too big in the waist. Given the higher rise and what not.

The rise on the 8301S size 30 allegedly 9.9", which of course there will be some variation.
In the past with my Iron Heart I tend to over compensate and order slightly too big, which has been a big deal. The 301S-14 could possibly be my favorite out of all my 5 pairs of Iron Hearts.

I know they'll stretch, which is why I'm leaning to the tag size 30.

Sorry for the long winded post. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I pulled the trigger yesterday morning, should be here by Friday, I couldn't be more excited. Guess I'll have to put off the 555 for another little while.

Did they recently change the patch design? Got a pair from grailed with a rider on the motorcycle.

Really, really dig these.
Sizing was a bit tricky and I had to send a pair back. But it was totally worth it. The fit is awesome (for what I wanted)
After a hot hand wash, I got 1/2" of shrink out of the waist and a full 1" in the length.
This denim is great, but we all knew that already
Low rise but really comfortable top block and perfect taper. I'll fire a fit pic up this afternoon.
Also, this patch is pretty badass.

I have a pair of 8301s that fit perfect.  Im wondering how the 301s compare size wise.  Wondering if I can simply order the same size 301s and my 8301s?

Guys these jeans are amazing, showed up today along with my 526L-V2. Super comfy once I got the top button done up. Going to compliment my 301S perfectly. @tflo8669 I sized the same on both, 8301 feels a bit looser in the thighs but no other noticeable difference. If you have any specific questions shoot me a message.

Good fits on both @Penny_pants The IH-301S were my first pair of IH. I had no idea at the time how wrong the cut was for me  It looks great on those who suit it though.

Thanks neph. The rise is a little lower then I’m used to but they fit well overall. I may give the 555 a try at some point also.
