The 888 Fatboy Chocolate World Tour

Sorry, I'm a bit behind here. Weekend before last, we went to an Island Christmas party put on by Austin Humane:
My sister and her husband, Billy, adopted Benny:
On Monday, I had to head back to work. Had to give this little one some belly rubs before I left:
I had to drive from Austin to Houma, LA:
I flew out on a Sikorsky S-92 from Houma to the drilling rig I work on, the West Capricorn:
Here's a quick youtube video that has some pretty cool shots from around the rig:
I wish I could take some interesting pics of video but we're in a maintenance period right now. I was hoping to have some cool fishing pictures as well but I haven't had any action since I arrived. I did catch this decent yellowfin last time I was at work though. It was roughly 70 lbs or so:
On the plus side, we've had some some good sunrises and sunsets. This was from yesterday's sunrise:

Nice update!

So, just a quick final update. I was able to catch an early flight home from work on Christmas:
I drove the remaining ~500 miles home and made it home by 8 pm which was way better than my normal midnight arrival. Wearing the 888's and my 208.
This little one and my wife were thrilled to have me home:
My wife and I had a modest Christmas at the house. We didn't want to go crazy buying gifts which worked out well for both of us.
My wife's sister, her husband and my father in law stayed with us for the next 5 days.
My father in law is a lot of fun, he's like a big kid:
My sister in law using a firearm for the first time:
Trying to get Stella to hold still long enough to take a picture (wearing my grey IHSH-64):
Most everyone was under the weather over the holidays so we didn't manage to do too many picture worthy activities so that's about all I've got for my extended leg of the tour.

I’ll for sure do another tour!

I’ll do my best to make this an awesome month!

Thanks! I gave them a wash and they are drying now. The fades are amazing - shows how great 21oz can be even after only 16 months.

I won’t let you down @Seul !!
Since the WTJ were drying from last nights run through the washer, it was normal coaching attire for me opening up the gym this morning for sessions at 5:30, 6:30, and 8am
Today we did some 500m sprints on the Concept2 Ski-Erg followed by some Bench Press work
After classes, I headed home to some sick kids.
If you remember from my first leg of the tour, I acquired a relatively derelict 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. Proud to say I’m still “Cruisin” to this day (albeit the AC died for the third time since my ownership, so it might not be parked in my driveway much longer haha)
Got home and prepared the WTJ for battle!
And finally - the fit pic (I desperately need a pair of these now - they fit me much better now that I’m about 15lbs lighter)
We are in the middle of finishing up our annual “Vacation Guide” for my marketing job - so just doing some copy editing:
Gotta go run errands and grab dinner and drinks later, so will update again tonight!

Awesome update. Almost like watching “scenes from last week” before the newest episode of your favorite show

Cheers gents!
I have a big presentation today, and I always feel weird carrying my GoRuk into business meetings, so I went searching for a new briefcase to carry all my files in.
A few shots of a little street in my town (we moved to Downtown Fairhope back in August)
The shop that I usually go to (and usually has Healthy stock of Filson bags was out, so I drove south east about 25 minutes:
Managed to find what I needed
My wife knew my mind had been wrapped around this meeting I have today, so she told me to head to dinner by myself and clear my mind:
Then the WTJ and myself got soaked running back to the truck!
Seriously love being back in these. A pair will be inbound before my leg is through I assure you.
That’s it for now, gettin cleaned up and heading to Destin, so I’ll have plenty of fun beach shots for later!

Well, photos from my quick trip to Florida was a bust due to the rain and a rather rushed schedule, but got a few snaps of our land on my way!
A rural Alabama highway:
Some tunage for the drive:
Driving over the bridge into Niceville Florida (it rained the whole way there…) :
After rushing to make it back to open the gym, we got afternoon classes rolling:
While i was in a suit most of the day, changed into the WTJ once at the gym to celebrate the weekend!
Detail shot:
Came home and caught up on some Paw Patrol episodes with the twins:
Hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend!

Great stuff as usual @Appfaff

Thanks @Matty123 !
Yesterday was a busy Saturday as usual for us. Kids have been under the weather for the last week and have been getting cabin fever, so my wife took them out and about while I worked on some big projects for work.
My office set up featuring some unique contemporary style artwork my grandfather had collected:
Here is the house we bought in August. It’s a 1970s Trilevel that lives a lot like a Stacked townhome or condo. Almost half of the SF we had at our old home, but only about 6 blocks away from the Bay and about a 7 minute walk to parks for the kids:
My backyard which needs a lot of work lol
Our lot of super deep and actually extends about 60 more feet behind the fence, but we wanted to keep a green screen from the easement behind us for privacy.
Took a break and let Avery take my heartbeat lol
Giving daphne (our pit-lab) a check up
Finally found some decent Texas beer at my local market:
Off to go hold an open house, so will give a tour of our Northern side of town later today!
Cheers
Adam
