A 911 is a very sensible car. A friend of mine works for a car website/magazine and said he's driven the 911 cross-country several times, and the seats are the most comfortable car seats he's ever used. At your stage in life, it's important to be comfortable

I own an S4 Avant. It's a very good way of getting from A to B with stuff quickly, and great to live with on a day to day basis, especially on poor roads in the winter.

My dad had a 997 911 - total POS. It was so bad my mom wouldn’t even look at the Macan S when she was looking for a zippy crossover.

However, my grandfather left the family his 964 Cab4 when he passed and that is a dream.

On most days of the year the Porsche SUVs are the predominant models on german streets too, the historic 911s that arent conserved in some underground parking lot are mostly coming out on a sunny summer sunday three times a year

Looks like I had my models reversed. According to Porsche's own sales figures, the Macan was nearly 42% of US sales. Add in the Cayenne, and the total rises to almost 60%. That's a lot more than just middle aged Texas women.

Besides, around here, the vehicle of choice for that socioeconomic bracket is either a Tahoe or an Escalade. Which is worse, I readily admit.
