Yeah it was really good. May have been a little rich. I had to wash the plantain down with beer. It was fried in butter and tasted like a sweet potato.  Not too shabby.

Here, in the Milwaukee area, we are expected to have low temps in the -20F - -25F range, with windchills approaching -60F, for the next 2 days. I'll be feeling the chill with you.

@Filthy what do you do for work if you don't mind me asking?  Just curious because it seems that you're always sent to random and cool places around the world for your job.

I work for a contractor that services heat transfer tubes.

Basically I work on these things. I clean the scale (from circulating water) or product out of them increasing the heat transfer back to original specification. Also I test and repair them, pull the tubes out with heavy machinery and replace them. Sometimes they are so bad I use this big drill rig and drill them out. These exchangers are often massive and 30+ feet long.

Most of the time I work on the condenser in power plants.

I can't post any pictures of my equipment, at least I don't think I can.

I've been detained in customs. They haven't said why yet. I am glad my flight isn't for a few more hours or I would be extremely upset.
