Football (Soccer)

Today it was a curious football day.
I'll try to describe it in a timeline.
At 15:30 I was far away from thinking about football! It is Saturday and my kids had to do several homeworks (and believe me, I'll have to push them all three!)
16:00 I told my wife that I am thinking about to trade my season card to a friend, because I am bored of this struggle to see a game …..
17:00 I tried to leave home, to see BvB against Bayern, but I trapped into my own booby trap.
Should have expected, that Manila, Helsinki, Omsk and Miami is not easily to find in the atlas and to describe in the form of latitudes and longitudes for my kids.Left home at 18:00 and arrived 18:12 (game started at 18:30) at the BVB stadium.
I was one of the last in the row to get in, but as my longtime ticket is pinpointed to Block 13 ( the Heart of the supporting Block), definitely to late to get on the stands. As I am only wearing some IH gear, nothing in the color of my team, I am a little bit of outsider
.
But believe me, the scenery behind the live game is beautiful and grotesque in both ways. The Block in the Half Time 0:1 at this time of the game!
This place is never empty in the Half Time:
In the end it was a glorious victory for the BvB 3:2
Went home by a 20 minute bicycle ride and arrived home dripping wet but smiling!
Perhaps I keep my season ticket for some years

is it me or is the UEFA nations league absolute shit?

^yeah i kinda feel that there's many other ways to do a qualifier. there's too many breaks in the premier league season and a high risk of players getting injured during these international "friendlies" as well..

It's been the best year in living memory so far for the Bayern hater. Defeat follows draw at home, they currently rank fifth (unheard of), and there is every hope that the arrogant sods will go without even proximity to any title this season. I sure hope so.
The last home game had a priceless moment at the end, when the visiting team (Fortuna Düsseldorf) equaled the score in extra time, virtually at the very last moment. To appreciate how utterly inappropriate the annoyed facial expressions on Mssrs Hoeness (for our German readers I only add one word: Hackfresse) and Rummenigge faces were, one should recall the countless incidents when Bayern scored at the very death, coining the term "Bayern Dusel", rather inadequately translatable as "undeserved serial luck time and again".
They play a very mediocre season and still feel this absolute sense of entitlement. I so hope for many happy returns of causes for very major annoyance. Ha!

Obviously I’m biased but I’d suggest that a bicycle kick demonstrates one (all be it impressive) skill, where as Salah puts half the Everton defence on their arses with a turn and a couple if feints. Then, in addition, the finish has a superior level of accuracy and skill involved.

It's a wonderful curler and MS really left the defenders no chance before he scored. Impressive for sure. I just feel that one can see a curler way more often than an overhead kick like Bale's or CR7's against Juve for that matter. Additionally both were scored in the CL knockout stage: final and quarter-final respectively. Maybe the FIFA just wanted to award him the title for the astonishing but titleless season he's had.
