Just tracked down a copy of this classic from the 90s

One of my faves from the early 90's. Saw Grotus open for Mr Bungle back in the day, sadly, they're no longer around and called it quits after only a couple of albums. Really wished somebody would reissue this album cuz it's amazing, but probably not everyone's cuppa tea.

@emceeQ I'm so gutted their ep isn't available on CD. Lucy Dacus, Pheobe Bridges, and Julien Baker have released standout albums this past year. Seeing Julien Baker live in London a couple of months ago was astounding. If you get chance, see her. I was in bits!

@emceeQ I like that. It has touches of Teenage Fanclub, so that is no bad thing!

just pure class. He has a simply stunning voice

and while I'm on class, sass, and style…Miss Nikki Lane

On Friday I had some 17 year olds try to explain to me that their fashion sense was 80's retro so I got to paraphrase quote The Hold Steady… "The 80's almost killed me let's not remember them quite so fondly"
I dig THS, saw them a bunch when I lived in Minneapolis.
I'm a huge fan of a group of friends/musicians from the northeast, including this great drummer Joe Russo–Craig Finn has been jamming with him and a bunch of other badasses lately. I'm sure it's friggin gold.

Years go by, and still, I can never get enough Dime.Yep. Saw these guys twice 25 yrs ago and probably one of the best shows I’ve been to. Damn I’m ancient but damnit, those were the days

I got to see SLEEP again tonight. They really sounded fantastic. The opening act Weather Warlock was really weird. He doesn't play any instruments for the most part and somehow uses the weather to make feedback that drones through some crazy amps.
I was lucky and got to be in the first row this time.
The cool bouncer in in the front game me the set list.
They had woven patches and a ton of merch. I bought a lot of stuff because the ticket was only $25. They should be charging a lot more, I think.
I have been feeling so depressed recently that I almost didn't even go. But I am really glad I did.

Sorry about the depression and hope it abates, but super envious about the show and mementos, what a great night!
