Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I forgot to mention the od’ed 18oz used on the IHSH-178. That’s an obvious option.
If I was going to spec it exactly as I wanted I’d go for the 21oz overdyed denim. As I now have both the IHV-30’s and the IHV-04, 21oz vests are my new normal. I’d also go for silver coloured nickel on all the hardware to make Good Art pimpery that much easier.

@bluewallpaper:
How about a pocketless corduroy Type III for FW19?
As much as I like the streamlined and classic look of a pocketless type III (or other designs), I have a feeling they'll be pretty limited going forward. Modified versions just seem to sell better, and people are used to pockets. Hell, even type IIs are better w/ pockets IMO.

Going by the ratio of workshirts to westerns, I'm guessing workshirts don't sell so well. Is that right?
They don’t sell as well as westerns, certainly. Some individual models have sold very quickly (the IHSH-131, IHSH-118 and the workshirt version of the IHSH-170 all spring to mind). The IHSH-68 and IHSH-21 are core classics so continue to sell also. But you’re essentially right in that IHUK shifts many more units in the western style than in the work shirt style.
This to my mind is a bummer as I like both models but feel some patterns and fabrics are better suited to westerns and vice versa. I see a lot of westerns, especially UHF’s, that I would much prefer as a work shirt.

Don't forget the 215.

I’d really like to see some sort of variation on the IHW-06.
I’m torn between plain color or pattern (I am partial to the buffalo patter).I think it would be amazing with some military accents such as epaulettes. And some horsehide leather elbow patches would be and amazing addition…

How about a variant of the ihsh-211 but in indigo? i'd get rid of the western yokes, make it indigo and throw on a natural cord collar

Also, has IH ever done a whipcord M65? Would whipcord even work as an M65 or would that be an anachronism?

No more so than a woolen or denim M65.
It hasn’t been done. I’m not sure how it would turn out.

yeah, i'm not sure how it would turn out either. Whipcord is such a stiff fabric and one of the things I appreciate about my ihm-20 is how soft it is. Curious if whipcord would restrict movement or cause problems during the manufacturing process

Untucked. Ventile, quilt lined body, lined but uninsulated arms. I’m seriously just throwing out ideas for another Untucked CPO until one sticks. I figure by F/W ‘19 I can buy another safely.

An N1 inspired M-65.
Whipcord outer, windproof liner, and alpaca interior
If you’re talking about it built as described here, like the N1’s, then they are autumn/winter jackets and are heavy and thick as they should be, but still very wearable. The IHW-13’s are heavier and thicker than N1’s but also still very comfortable (and so stylish [emoji1]).
If you’re talking about a simpler spring jacket, well, IH make type III’s and workpants out of whipcord with no problem, and they are both very popular, so practically I see no issue.

A slightly more "technical" version of IHV-32. Nylon, Cordura, or even eVent face fabric (maybe blue or black, forest green, whatever), paraffin-coated duck yoke (Cordura could also work), PrimaLoft Gold lining.
