Normally on a Saturday i’d be spending a fair portion of the day shouting at these muppets, but as it’s half term we don’t have another game until November 10th, which I’ll cover in a future post.
I genuinely enjoy coaching, but it’s far more time consuming than I ever imagined and you spend have your time as a surrogate parent or councillor to a bunch of over emotional teenage bell ends.

Our parents at the team are actually pretty good people, which is a minor miracle, i’ve heard some horror stories from other coaches. I’m actually going out on the booze with them next Saturday night which should be a fun post

Sunday without football is kind of a nothing day, we’re doing a little decorating as we want to move house next year and aside from that we had to pick up some shopping and watch some Seinfeld.
First, back to my favourite spot….
Then to the ridiculously busy Supermarket car park, during December it takes literally an hour to get out of this hell hole.

Probably won’t be doing much of any interest on the weekdays this week, working 10 hour shifts really screws with your ability to do awesome things. If anything of any interest happens of course i’ll post it, meanwhile here is a shot of this mornings frost on Fisher Lane Park at 6am.

Tonight i’m heading out into Mansfield to get drunk with the “football dads”, I will take pictures, I might wear the jacket and it will be an eye opener for those of you beer snobs and hipsters who consider beer a ritual. This will be an exercise is beer as a tool to get smashed, rather than beer as an extension of a curated lifestyle.
In the meantime, we went to get the front tyres changed on the car so we don’t die.
