^ very nice. I just moved my IHSH-76 on and while I prefer a IHSH-178 as a replacement these are also tempting. Did you cop it?

Did some window-shopping today and saw this shirt for the first time. Based on some folks' descriptions, I went in expecting a monster of a garment, but it turned out to be the nicest, softest shirt-denim anywhere ever. Once I slipped it on I didn't want to take it off - and the only size they had in store was at least a size or possibly 2 sizes too small.

                    Roll on the restock. 😎

Yeah it is very soft for how heavy it is. But it is a beast in terms of how rough and all made it is.

                      Maybe so. Maybe not

Thanks Giles. I did sign up for the restock notification, but I spy there are some in size L left at R&H, might yet cop one from there…

Is the IHSH-178 restock to be expected at a similar schedule as well?

A week or two afterward usually for OD stuff

Okay it seems I was way off with my estimation of which size I would be. Had a chance to take an IHSH-207 out for a spin today and had to go with XXL as couldn't lift my arms with anything smaller; also dabbled with an IHSH-33-Indigo in L and that was a non-starter.

Do you take the same size in 177/178 as you would with an UHF such as the 207? Giles does, do others? I can read the measurements and see where they differ, but I also realize the different fabrics affect the fit.

177 is still in stock in XL as well as XXL and 178 in the latter… Wish I had done this research a couple of weeks ago.

By the sounds of things XXL might be right for you. I’d go XL in the 177 and take XL in UHF’s. I could get into an L 33 without a problem although it maybe fitted.

Judging by the photos you are like 6'3" with wide shoulders/athletic build, yet you could consider wearing a 33 in L? I call sorcery.

Only 6’ (6’2” in Wesco [emoji1]) and I weigh 202lbs. An L would work although it would be snug. I’d maybe go XL because of shrinkage. The 177/8 is all shrunk out so you won’t have that problem.

I think the wisdom is to go with your standard IH size with these but I guess how you wear it may play a part. If your looking at layering as is intended or if you’ll wear it over a tee or a-shirt.
