29.5 deg.c in the house last night.
30 here yesterday. Got up at 3am, started work at 5, went beershoping at 9, had two beers at 10, powernap at 12, now awaiting arrival of fresh box of beers.
If only it were 30C° colder, it would've been a great day…

My son's last day at daycare will be Aug. 6th. Our monthly daycare bills were about $1000 split between my ex and I – next month's bill is only $232, so $116 on my end. So relieved to not have to pay astronomical bills every month

This is outside (in the shade) and livingroom.
Bedroom currently 28.5 deg. C. -
Since we're talking about weather….the temp driving home the other day in Phx.

Does that mean it's 100 degrees in the shade? Absolutely brutal

Nope, more like in the 112-114 range in the shade.

Geezus CRICE….
That's Afghanistan temps!
lol…no doubt....and this explains why I'm not outside during the summer unless I'm working or by a body of waer. I don't care if it's a dry heat...it's hell.

i've said this before but I probably wouldn't own any IH tops if I lived in a very warm location. I think this speaks more about how well made IH stuff is and how intolerant of heat I am. I would die if I lived in AZ.

I bought most of my IH gear to get through the winters in your region. As a Mississippi kid I had to do something drastic.

Yeah, most of it is out, unfortunately. I have a few that basically serve as light jackets in the "winter".

I don't know why, but this is the first time I've been in Houston end of July, and the weather is 100F, but I don't feel I'm walking into a sauna the minute I walk outside. First day I got here was hot, but other than that it's been OK.

About 2 in 365 days that way. How long you there ROman?

I'm in Houston for the weekend, and I agree, it actually wasn't that bad. Looks like the forecast for today is 100 degrees and only 60 percent humidity.
So pretty dry, by Houston standards…

This is actually the nicest thing I've ever heard anyone say about Huston, and I have relatives in TX so it comes up more than it would otherwise.
-
After living there for 12 years, I have lots of things to say about Houston, not all of them bad. Most, but not all.
