That’s the one. I was referring to where I saw it in this forum before. I measured my foot today and had some questions. I’m an 11EEE according to that size chart.. I’m Wondering if anyone else with Wesco boots finds the cart accuratez

The Boot I got today is 9.5D and that is pretty much exactly what the Chart says.

I used that size chart before I bought my Jobmasters and find it accurate.

I may have mentioned this before but Kyle at Bakers boots told me that not all of Wesco’s lasts are standardized. For the standard Jobmaster last (9165) or bump toe last (9109), the chart works great. Kyle also mentioned if you are thinking of going with the MP last he said to size down 0.5 size FWIW.

This is something that is giving me trouble. I have heard to size down .5 for the MP but in practice I rarely see it done without removing the sock liner or in cases of people with odd sizing. I've also seen side by side pictures of an MP wesco and a 2030 Viberg that was a half size smaller and they looked the same,  maybe even a bit shorter than the Viberg.

Interesting and good to know. I’m getting the feeling that Kyle at Bakers tends to size people on the tighter side. He advised me to take a half size smaller on my Jobmasters but I went TTS from the chart on bigblackboots.com instead and I’m glad I did. I have sized down too much on certain boots in the past and was trying to avoid that for my Wescos. BTW, I’m a 10 in Viberg and 11 in Wesco.

the MP toe is narrow to begin with, if you sized down you might be pinched length and width. I'm normally a D but if I order another MP toe I'm going to E.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…
        Well, I have others.

I have a pair of Redwings in 10EE but the fit isn’t great. Maybe a 10.5D would have been better. Not really sure since I haven’t tried that. Don’t have Vans but I’m 11.5 in Nike/New Balance. 11 in PF Flyers. 10E in Alden Trubalance/Barrie. 10E in White’s semidress but think 10.5 might be better for a longer arch length.

There's an MP 1339 last which runs narrow  and an MP95 last that actually runs wide, but 99% of motor patrol boots I see are 1339.

For now I'm planning on going true to brannock size on my foot patrol. I figure if it's a bit big I can use a thicker insole and get long laces to tie around the ankle.

Hey everybody. I’m new to the forum and to my everlasting shame I’ve JUST discovered Wescos. Yes, I’ve been living under a rock for the last 20 years. LOL

I just received my leather samples in the mail from Chris to help me decide which brown tone to go with and I’m totally sold on the British Tan. It’s even better in person! I’m just waiting on my fit kit to arrive so I can get that back to them and then I’ll be pulling the trigger on a pair of custom Hendriks. Can’t WAIT.

My question is if anyone has any real life pics of the blue stitching option on a brown boot (style doesn’t matter, just want to see what the blue on brown looks like) and if anyone has gotten the orange stitching option for the soles? I’m not going to mix and match the leathers on this first pair, but I’m thinking it might be cool to throw a different stitch in there.

Thanks in advance for any pics and thanks to everybody for all the great pics that have been posted in this thread already!

                      Hi there.

I don’t know of anyone on here with that kind of combo but do check out wesco_japan on IG. Lots of interesting combos there.

Thanks for the recommendation Neph93. Much obliged. I wasn’t planning on getting too crazy but then I started playing around with the custom builder. Oops.

Standard leathers are heavyweight oil tanned with a matte finish
Domain leathers are not quite as heavy, but are waxed with a glossy finish

I did not know that @Giles so that means I could do a nice Miliatry Style Water Polish on the Tie Domain, that would probably look funny as hell on the thick Workboots.

@neph93 That is a fact, hence why most Work boots are Oil Tanned. I would prefer a Classic "Lohgerbung" (Veg Tanning) but that isn´t too common in the USA I think. My Grandpa used to be a Shoemaker, they only did vegtanned Leather from a Local Tannery (obviously longout of Business like most Veg Tannerys) with wooden Nails in their Shop, these Shoes were absolutly Rock Solid.

Wesco had a veg-tanned option available on their site until recently, also last time I looked they hadn’t updated their site with the new leathers.  So what’s on the site and what you can actually get on a custom build may not be the same thing. If you go through Giles/Alex then they will be able to find out what’s around.

The build-a-boot on Wesco's site has only shown it as an option briefly in the last couple years. It's a fantastic leather. Definitely worth checking with G/Alex or Chris at Wesco for availability
