Can you make the image smaller in size before trying to upload?

The image size was never an issue before when I did post pictures (mostly done with iPhone8)
up to the point when it didn't work anymore, which started to happen, when I asked
a while ago, if I could delete a post. Chris replied, only admins can. I believe he deleted that post.
Don't know if one thing has to do with the other… 
Btw, pasting an Instagram url in the message field doesn't work as well. Weirdness...

I think @Jim 's pic answers my question as he has a reasonable sized chain threaded, and I'm more for that than leather cord to my personal tastes. I've been toying with Crazy Pig Designs and Great Frog feather pendants but love this beauty! Thanks in anticipation

The loop hole/opening on the feather is sufficiently large enough for any leather lace or paracord. No worries @Stuart.T

@Jim  I meant that like you, I'd use a chain rather than a leather thong. A matter of personal taste, but I've already got a silver chain I think would work,hence my query about diameter. Cheers
