hi @Alex any more indication as to arrival? I've got a couple hundred £ burning a hole in my pocket and I'm desperately trying to talk myself out of another purchase on a different shirt when the 12oz Wabash has been top of my list for an age…cheers!

Great! I was just about to pull the trigger on a 10oz chambray, I will definitely wait for the to land now. Even though it's 30 degrees C at the moment, I need one of these for September onwards!! Thanks for the heads up  😉

XXL at home waiting for me on my return from work. Very excited. Given the practically arctic conditions in the UK today compared to recent days I might be able to take a couple of fit pics

@neph93 …who knows, maybe my first ever Wabash Wednesday  😉 I bought the XXL with the intention of a warm wash to get a little bit of shrinkage. It's in the machine now and I reckon it's going to be a beaut!

                        Yeah we’ll get there.

The wabash tightens on a warm wash but if you end up needing more shrinkage I have a nailed on recipe. Let me know if you need it.

As far as IH-world goes I’d say this shirt is iconic. Great score.

Hope all is well. I am seriously considering this shirt but I have to shrink one inch in length .Do you have a recipe to shrink the length? Thanks

a 90°C wash should be able to do that. But please keep in mind the arm length will shrink too. And less the shoulders and PtoP, as well.

Rocket is right and a 90C wash will give results. The very important thing though is too thoroughly soak the shirt before washing and turn inside out. Also, don’t have the RPM’s too high. 800rpm is enough. If you don’t do these things you risk white lines from creasing/abrasion. If you are worried about the arm length you can stretch the seams while the shirt is still wet to regain a little length.

My machine doesn’t give me temperature settings , I assume you guys meant hot water wash. Secondly , I don’t know the rpm because my washing machine give me an option as shown in the picture . I am assuming hot water and light cycle

You’re probably right but I can’t guarantee it. I can set temps and spin as I want on mine. Be warned that US machines are harder on clothes than European ones, and please, please, soak the shirt well in the bath or shower first.

Good man. If you can’t see abrasion/heavy creasing now then you should be good. Tumble drying will maximise shrinkage but will accelerate wear, affect the cotton and you risk abrasion lines again. Leave it and see how you feel.

One more word to the wise, wabash needs to be ridden hard to reveal it’s true glory.
