I’ve always been a fan (although packers are nice too and the hybrid permutations complicate things further), but the Smokejumpers are all the lace up I need at the moment. I’ll sort it one day.

Those S&S Axe Breakers are calling my name…

Can I get some sizing advice folks? I've got narrow, long feet.

Viberg 2030 in 10.5 fit like a dream; I can wear Real McCoys boondockers and engineer boots in size 10 and its a tight but comfortable fit; in Alden I can wear 10-11 in the Indy boot depending on sock thickness and lacing.

What size should I be looking for in the Axebreaker 1339 last? They offer all in 'E' width, should I enquire about a 'D' width if possible?

edit: Bulatik85 - I'm assuming you're asking specifically about horsehide, as opposed to cordovan. In my experience, horsehide is a smoother, shinier leather that is thinner and more pliable than cow.

Ah apologies jdl1279, I should point out this is a build for Standard&Strange - https://standardandstrange.com/products/s-s-x-wesco-axe-breaker-horsehide-boot

They have a 10.5E that might fit, considering I'm 10.5 in Viberg's 2030, 10.5 generally in Alden's larger lasts, but just wanted advice from anyone with experience due to my freakish narrow but long feet.

@Aries It is a pre-order for S&S, though, right? Maybe worth reaching out to Neil and seeing if he can tack on your size to their order.

There’s actually one left in stock at 10.5E @Alex , but good advice regardless - I’ve reached out to Neil to see what he recommends.

FWIW my Vibergs service boots and Wescos are both 10D and fit roughly the same. I have no clue what last the service boots are, but I’m guessing whatever is standard.

Thanks @Appfaff , Viberg service boots are generally the 2030 last afaik so that’s good.

I’ve ordered the last remaining pair of 10.5E as left on the S&S site after talking with Jeremy, who reiterated what you said basically. My only concern is the E, rather than D.

Regardless he said we can do a return and custom order if they don’t fit so time will tell.
