Curious, think you'd ever consider another release in this same make (single yoke western) in a different color?  I see the CPOs, but prefer this make.  Probably ain't gonna happen, I know….

      Cheers,
      BK

I think it makes SO MUCH sense as a "workshirt"…

Guys working get tears and holes, and this fabric was designed specifically for that kind of work. You get a hole, and it doesn't grow, even with washing.

*For reference, all US military utility uniforms are made from rip-stop fabric. A pinhole will always remain a pinhole. A tear barely grows, even with repeated wear and washings

        In search of:
        IHV-04, med.
        IHSH-185, large
        IHSH-186, large (khaki, and green)

@Giles - would you say this is a bit more comfortable in warmer climates than even a IHSH-13 ?

Thinking this or the Khaki CPO would be great for spring

This one. 100%.  I wore it in Fiji all the time…..I would not have dreamt of taking an IHSH-13 with me.

How is this shirt in warm weather compared to say an IHSH-133 or the new 212?

If say it’s easier to wear than the 212. I have both and the ripstop has been my go to in the summer

I wear mine in the tropics no problem.  I'd say slightly warmer than both the IHSH-133 and the IHSH-212

This one is in the Outlet at a decent price!
I think pimpin is an option to consider.

Got this shirt from the outlet- turns out it’s one of my favorite and best fitting shirts, pimped with MoP snaps. 54 wear days, three hand washes. Fading all over to a delicate blue with some white highlights in high traffic areas.

Out there doing some trail work.

                                  Aww snap!

I need to take some better photos of the shirt as a whole. I’ve worn mine enough that the left elbow was running thin- hadn’t worn it in a bit but finally had the time to do a sashiko style patch. This was my first try at the technique and I suppose not entirely ‘correct’ (mostly single stitches vs running stitch). No real planned design to start either, but easy to do something geometric with the fabric essentially having a grid on it.
It ended up looking vaguely mountainy, which certainty works for me. 135 wear days and a number of washes. My favorite shirt!
