One of the trends in Sydney real estate sales is the use of lifestyle models to promote a property. It's probably a side-effect of prices getting out of control, and agents feeling the need to up the ante to justify their commission.
This house in Rozelle is a relative bargain at $1 million. However, the models look more like something out of The Shining, rather than selling a desirable lifestyle!

But you can "Build a 2nd Home in back, sell it and get back the money spent to remodel the front home."
Seems like sketchy math and logic to me, but then I'm not a real estate agent, so what do I know?

OK, Adam @Appfaff , I'll post my kitchen photos here that I mentioned to you earlier. All appliances Jenn-Air, from 2011, so far no issues. Cook top has a griddle in the middle, and no down draft vent.

I should have also mentioned, builder built the cabinets, I was basically given a clean slate to do any thing I wanted in the kitchen, of course as long as I was willing to pay for it. It's my second favorite space in my house.
