That is actually a glass from Kent Falls Brewery (which is a fantastic brewery) It’s also what was given to me by the host of the party. So I didn’t think twice.

            It's a jar, not a glass imo….

I agree. Must be a yank thing. Mason jars used for moonshine and bootlegging. Part of
Our heritage I suppose. I don’t get Christmas pudding or vinegar on fried fish. But every expat here has a tin of that Christmas pudding in the pantry.

And that jar doesn’t function as so. It didn’t come
With a top and the threading is just decor. So nostalgia must be the reason

It was unlike anything I've had before.  My wife and I enjoyed this at the Downstairs bar at the Esquire in San Antonio.  It's definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in San Antonio.

Is it dry? Those are the ones I like. Those and the sharp / funky (e.g. Basque) ones.

Doing a no alcohol thing and when I come back ciders may replace a portion of the beer diet, so planning ahead.

                                        Think it, be it.

Yeah, it was fairly dry, semi-sweet with a very unique flavor.  My palate isn't refined enough to pick out many notes but this stuff was pretty magical.  I'd say it was more reminiscent of a sparkling wine than any cider that I've ever had.
