It will be far closer to my image than hers now, because "Once my rucksack is full/too heavy, you'll have to carry more"…..

She wanted a 9lb 2 burner camp stove, but I told her it's too big, clunky and heavy.
We've settled on a Jetboil HalfGen.Based on her extensive ::) ::) ::) Girl Scout experience from 20+ years ago, she thought she would be cooking brekky, lunch and dinner each day… I said "If the cooler is full of perishable foods, where will the beer go?"..... She was immediately understanding on that point, lol

She got to Marfa about 9 am. Around 11 am, she texted me and said, "I think I've reached my hipster limit already." She said it was worse than Portland, because the town is small, so it's more concentrated.

Network settings have been changed, and FB is currently on the blocked list at work… This is day 2, and I'm dying.
Not that I'm addicted to FB, but I work in a comm closet that's literally an office inside of an office, inside of a conference room, inside of a building... No phones allowed. FB keeps me sane at work, as it's my link to the world outside of these 4 walls.

Camping is also awful is mosquitos love you. It's the primary reason why I hate camping. Even a thick layer of bug spray does nothing for me.
