Finally finished season 2 of Fargo. Good stuff. Not many parables this season, which is good. I especially liked some of the humorous bits with Dodd Gerhardt after he was kidnapped and taken to the cabin. Bring on season 3

Re Fargo S2, one plot detail that kinda bugged me was Lou Solverson's limp. He was clearly injured in the line of duty and I assumed he would've been shot at the massacre @ Sioux Falls, but it didnt happen. Did they say in S1 how he got injured?

Finally finished watching Altered Carbon.  I actually liked it a lot.  I liked the book a lot, too.  The two were different enough that I could approach them as relatively unique entities.

Despite some reservations about the last few episodes I have a generally good feeling about it and a desire to see it again some day.

Was underwhelmed with the whole thing to be honest… Extremely well documented, but lacked punch...

Screw which guys? I enjoyed it although it was a little fragmented and confusing. But this is the most literary TV show since The Wire so I think that must be fine. I need some nerdy type to do a body count. Never before have I seen more corpses in one hour of TV [emoji1]

I gave it a good go but Maggie Gyllenhaal's character/story proved to be too much of a downer for me to stick with it for the entire season.

I got 4 episodes into The Expanse season 2 but had to return it to the library because someone has it on their waiting list. Kinda bummed because it normally takes me about 2 weeks to finish a show, so now I have to check it out again to finish it. Anyway, so far so good

There’s very little story line or plot development and an awful lot of portrayal (norsk: skildring), even more so than with The Wire. That was fine by me as the portrayal is really well done, but it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
