Just booked a flight from Zurich to Berlin… Just need to find a hotel or similar that is equidistant between - DC4, Brewdog Berlin and within reach of public transport. So that's 17th - 26th sorted. Now need to think about either flying back from Germany, or going somewhere else for a day or so. Only real sticking point is that I have to be back in the U.K by the 29th at the absolute latest. Hmm.

Tomorrow, Friday 20th April 2018, is "Thank Duck it's Friday" on WAWYT for those that want to.
If anyone wants to throw in a Duck inspired pun with their pic then I strongly encourage it… "Duck this, it's nearly the weekend" is a personal favourite.
So get out your brown duck or indigo duck; navy, black or natty duck, and rock out with your...uhm... duck out.
As a side note, if anyone has one of those IH-x526J black duck type III's then you can leave that in the closet. Nobody likes a show-off

So, 6 months ago I was invited by Kotaro (of Nine Lives) to his wedding in Joshua Tree. Of course, I said yes. As it happens, it is next week so we can fly from Tokyo to LA.
Bear in mind I have never met Saori.

I’ve decided that Berlin just edges out London in: ‘The best public transport to use while drunk’ award. Also the previous and current country I’m visiting have not even checked my passport. Perhaps technology has moved on in the 5 years since I last used it.

This is a great idea for an award. More research should definitely be done on this and results posted in this thread.

Berlin does have a great public transportation system. I like buying the pass, validating it, then never having to show it until an inspector comes on the train.
