I'm now 4 episodes into Fargo season 1. So far, so good. It gets bonus points because Joel & Ethan Coen are executive producers on the show, so I know it's in good creative hands being that they're local boys. I like the actors a lot, but the standouts for me so far are Billy Bob Thorton, Martin Freeman and Adam Goldberg  I think Martin Freeman does a great job channeling his own version of William H. Macy's character from the original movie. Can't wait to finish up season 1 and start season 2

Good to know. I think if I had to find something to nitpick about it would be the ridiculous use of the Minnesota accent. It's not used as much, it would seem, as the original movie but I felt the movie at least did a decent job of doing it correctly. Again, William H. Macy did a great job with his Minnesota accent but there were a few scenes in the tv show that were cringe worthy. And no, most Minnesotans do not speak like that
