Watches - another OCD problem
-
Hodinkee are getting very excited about the new Patek releases. By far the best so far is the Aquanaut Travel Time Chronograph with an orange rubber strap.
Ben Clymer is getting an orgasm over the platinum perpetual calendar with a salmon dial (it's a bit boring), Stephen Pulvirent is about to sell a kidney for the Nautilus perpetual calendar in white gold, and there's a world time minute repeater.
@JDelage there's another bronze Oris, the Big Crown Pointer Date, which looks good, and is nearly cheap enough for the other watch thread.

@louisbosco the prediction was wrong, it's got a Pepsi bezel on a steel case and bracelet. More at Rolex.

OK, I was wrong about the Tudor GMT, it's got a Pepsi bezel. It looks black in the photo.
There's also the Black Bay Fifty-Eight, which is smaller than the original (38mm vs 41mm), and has a new in-house movement.

My bronze Oris sixty-five is my favorite of the 5 watches I've bought in the last few months (3 sold or to be sold). The color and finition is awesome. I might get that new big crown. I have always wondered about pointer dates… It's a bit small though.
That Patek looks great in orange, but people who think they can sell a kidney and get one are overestimating their kidneys...
People are going to be exited about the smaller Black Bay I suspect.

The new Speedmaster is very nice too…

i wonder what their pricing for the rolex gmt will be.. hopefully around the same figure as the batman.. which in that case. i wouldn't mind trading up..

Nice new Zenith Defy non-chrono skeletonized watch on IG. It has a nice Royal Oak-ish vibe. Love the detail on the second hand…
-
I believe it's about the same ~9k USD
The increased power reserve is a nice upgrade on top of the aesthetics. It's up to 70hrs now.

Damn, Doug- I like that Oris, and I don't normally like dual time zone watches.
It would be even better if they put the crown at 4, the date window at six, and gave it a solid case back. Maybe shrink it a couple of millimeters and get it down to a more versatile 43mm or so…

Hmmm, turns out there's an Oris dealer across the street from the Tudor dealer, and they're both 1.2 miles from work. May have to swing by on the way home one day and check out the Heritage Chrono and the Propilot.
