The one that got away…I changed my order midway from M to S and got too tight a fit in the chest. By that time, M was fully sold out 
Grey is nice but black is the one (for me) especially in this cut and fabric

This jacket is almost comically warm. This pic was taken before leaving my hotel at 7am this morning and I started overheating almost immediately in the 40degF weather.

Hey @Alex and everyone else, you can thank @peregrine for my purchase on this one. I thought it looked awesome in all the fit pics, but I was prioritizing other stuff. Then, I saw this, and I couldn't let the last M go. This looks insane with the black jeans, so thanks for convincing me.

I'm a little on the fence with the fit. It just seems a little big through the body (6'0", low 150s, size M), and this is even with l/s henley and 14 oz cpo underneath and a little cinching at the waist. I liked both grey and black and can't try the black in small, so I ordered a small in grey and will keep one of the two. Measurements on the grey I just put through are all definitely great with the possible exception of shoulders. We'll see.

Thanks, though I guess these don't quite show it as much as in person; it just seems like awfully big, especially through the back. Either way, I'll get the chance to try both before I decide on which to keep.

Agreed. I can't see any problems although if you want to wear it over one layer I guess it may be less fitted than it should be. I'd be concerned about losing length in a smaller size. Looks good imho.

I think it looks great, @cander49. M65s are traditionally pretty baggy, oversized coats, even though most of the modern ones that come out are sort of fitted.  This one looks trim, to me.  I think the S might be a little tight in shoulders, but especially length.

Looks like a great fit to me.  I see your point on the very slight billowing of the back torso, but feel it's only a quibble because it's being scrutinized under the microscope of photos.
It'll be fun to see the look change with a small though–looking forward.
