@Haddtoo:
It doesn’t get old. While I love The Sopranos, The Wire is the benchmark for truly excellent television.
I felt the same, the the Sap's were it…...then came The Wire....Mc Nutty.....
2nd season when Pelecanos was writing for them. Want to read a good book-anything by George Pelecanos.
2nd season is my favorite….amazballs ten years on we are still talking about

Season 2 is amazing. Tbh though everytime I think about this I just end up thinking about what’s great about all the series. Even the somewhat maligned S5 is full of awesomeness.
Yep, S5 is good. I really liked Bubbles' arc and conclusion to his story. Bittersweet

3>4>1>2>5So much goodness. I dug S4 as well. I remember hating Presbylewski's character at first, but after seeing his downfall and subsequent redemption as a teacher it all came together.
Funny seeing Michael B. Jordan in S1 as a young'un. Now he's hit the big time

^^Another great thing about the show.
So many actors went on to do other stuff. My wife is constantly annoyed when we're watching some show and I yell, "Hey! He was on The Wire!"

Yep, I did the same while watching The Walking Dead….3 actors from The Wire have been on the show. Also noticed Chad Coleman (aka Cutty) is on The Expanse

We're having a massive outbreak of the flu in the hospital I work in. First the inpatients were down, now it's all the staff as well. We're trying to Keep it running but it gets harder and harder. And I can almost bet I won't make it through the week without infection. Just great

Don't you get immunisations?
-
Yes, but only the Basic one which doesn't cover this exact type of virus

My wife and daughter both fought off the flu this past week. Both had vaccinations but still had symptoms. Vaccines probably helped limit the time and intensity but this year's flu is especially bad and it's been spreading like wildfire. Drives me crazy when out in public and someone is clearly sick.

Flu vaccines are a con. It’s like trying to vaccinate against a cold. To many strains.

Agreed. I get annoyed when a parent brings their sick child to daycare, especially when it's against policy. It's this sort of carelessness that gets my son sick and then me. Daycares are like petri dishes that breed unwanted illnesses
