How about an 18OZ Vintage Shadow Selvedge denim. Jeans,CPOs,and work shirts. The Black and Blue collection. Too corny?

That was inspired by how much I'm loving the denim on my IHSH-177. Hope to get the matching jeans in the Spring.

That vintage 18oz is easily the best «mid weight» denim I’ve had from IH or anyone else. I’d consider anything made from it seriously, od’ed or not. I’d love a heavy shacket with it.

Next winters classic check shirts with side pockets please  🙂

On the 18oz vintage subject, any thoughts on denim work pants (slash pockets, chino back pockets) in the 888 cut?

All next seasons UHF fabric has been accounted for I am afraid. I'm wary of denim work pants.  I know they were duck and non-selvedge, but the IH-816DD did not do nearly as well as I expected (read, crap)

As you saw, I love mine!

A workshirt or workshacket would be great, but I know the DD jackets sold slowly as well.

Sadly enough, I bet they all would have sold better if they had a selvedge ID

                    IHSH-186, large (khaki, and green)

I’m sure you’re right. I feel like a lot of people are getting past the need for selvedge and recognising that great fabrics don’t have to be narrow loom to be great. But that development came a little late for the DD.

I can’t find the pic on here, but I know you shared it at some point G, but after wearing the IHJ-35 pretty regularly, I would love to see a version made in natural. Something about that natural color that is so appealing.

I really like this vintage Bates jacket. An IHJ-54 in this colour scheme (natural body, teacore arms) would be good.

Id like to chime in - any words @Giles ?
I think these are the only pants i "need" in 2018. Oh, and i love my 816dd as well, just wish for a smaller hem - just like with the cargos.

I also love my IH-816DD, (I’ll forever regret not buying a second pair!), but think they were misunderstood by most people which contributed to the poor sales - even as a diehard IH fan, I took a bit of a gamble buying them since I really wasn’t sure that denim would look good in the 816 cut, but I trusted @Giles vision and glad that I did.
I’d be really interested in seeing another denim work pant, based on the 888 or 816 cuts, and in the 18oz or 21oz.

Hey G, what are your thoughts on another IH Forum hoodie or tshirt?

I think the last tshirt was a year ago or so and I have no idea how it sold. I think I read of a hoodie being done awhile back, but again, no clue how it sold.

I personally would like something other than black (for the hoodie or tshirt) or white (for the tshirt).

Maybe there might be interest forum wide…

I like that kind of thing but the last forum tee sold pretty slowly I think. Shame as it was very nice, use mine all the time.

I'm contemplating my navel re: a forum T at the moment.  The last one sold poorly.  We did do a forum sweat once and they sold really well, but I think that the forum is a very different place than it was in the early days and am not sure I could shift 60 if we made them again today…

That is 100% not a criticism of the forum as it is now, it is an objective view of the demographic....

With regards to the tee... that indigo dyed Kojima tee was a bloody lovely little number and sold out in a flash. Maybe a forum version with that kind of aesthetic would do better?
