my unpopular opinion: I don't get The Flat Head brand at all. I'm sure the quality is there and that they're all about unsanforized denim but their tops appear to be made for Hobbits.

I'm sure it's not uncommon to go up a size with a lot of Japanese brands, and TFH is no exception, but the fit charts i've looked at for their shirts come up really short.

I think their jeans look great though.

Their t-shirts are pretty damn good, though I dislike the collars.

Possibly the worst in all of Japanese denim, though Studio d'Artisan gives them a run for their money.I would say the worst goes to Momotaro for their battle stripes. though they're not proper arcs they're still quite ugly.

I know it's symbolic of their brand and that there's meaning behind it but I can't get behind having painted stripes on my ass

Evisu is the worst for me followed closely by Momotaro. The Strike Gold is a distant third (fortunately they do tonal arcs on some releases because TSG denim is awesome). The Flat Head arcs I am fairly impartial to, don't love, don't hate.

I give Evisu a pass ( not that i’d wear them myself) due to their pioneering importance to Japanese denim, plus the fact that Yamane-San is hilarious.
It’s probably not an unpopular opinion but I can’t believe you’re all ragging on these Japanese brands when Gustin, Lawless and Naked and Famous exist ???
