These look kinda “small” - meaning they don’t cover the ears much - @sam , would you consider this a tighter fit than the convoy?

@Appfaff They are smaller… cover less of your head than the convoy caps. I adjusted the turn up to fit my head better but I actually have a smallish head so some may find them too small. I wouldn't say it felt tight though...
And yes @Dstauffer … i see everything!

Thanks for the info @Sam - I feel like my somewhat large noggin might not fit these well..

I never really buy beanies since my wife knits all sorts of great stuff for me with excessively fancy, expensive yarns, but I wanted to comment that this seems like a really great price for a professionally made, hand-knit beanie. With Japanese workers making reasonable wages and a pro probably needing something close to 4 hours to knit this by hand (perhaps 2 if there are hand-operated looping machines involved), there can’t be much profit by the time you factor materials, export, etc. So, in case anyone thinks $115 is a lot to spend on a wool hat, go make it yourself and see how you feel afterwards.

Our bad. These are knitted in Montana USA. I think your argument still holds though…...

Haha yeah. Roughly similar wages either way.
