missed this jacket for a while. finally "cold" enough to wear them again.

I wore mine today again after some months break. It's way stiffer than I recalled (probably the Fullcount has changed my perception as well). Maybe too stiff…I'm considering selling it now.

Here are the pre and post measurements of the sample 101J i've been wearing for a while….it's an XL.

It's just had it's first wash since the initial soak so i'll grab some more measurements and photos and add them soon.

@Winchy I'm confused… Page says one-washed so little shrinkage, but this seems like a huge amount of shrinkage.

Am I remembering correctly that these used to be sold raw and your post is referencing those olden days?
Should one expect that the current iteration will not shrink nearly this much?

That's correct, the sample I was given was raw so will have had more shrinkage left in it. The current one-washed version won't have that much shrinkage in them at all.

Hey all!  Just had this arrive yesterday and so far love it!  Fit is perfect!

I was wondering two things, though:

1.) are the buttons on these supposed to jiggle/rattle?  It's my first IH jacket (but not my last), and definitely not my first IH product, and that has never been the case on my other buys.  Not bad or annoying; just struck me as different.  If it's IH, I know they'all last. 

2.). How much did your once-washed jackets shrink on subsequent wash?  The fit on mine is perfect, but I've always washed for max shrink, and not sure if I want to do that with this one.

Those buttons are articulated, they are supposed to move.

The jackets are one-washed, so there should be little or no shrinkage…

I figured the buttons were meant to move–it wasn't anything like flimsy construction at all.  Shit, this jacket will likely outlive me!

I noticed that there should be little to no shrinkage in the product description, but is there any general idea on how much specifically?  Like a percentage or range (i.e.; "0.2 to 0.6 inches in the sleeve") or anything like that?

Thanks for my new favorite jacket!  Been eyeing this for months and it didn't disappoint, and I had unreasonable expectations!  It looks great with my PIH5DCT and purple western!

It's not a science, that is why we say what we do.  You may get none, you may get some, there are too many contributing and conflicting parameters to be more exact….

what's the 36 equivalent to size xs-xxl in these??? any simple way of converting the numbers to alphabets? @Giles @Alex  perhaps?

Here it is at St Andrews, an hour from home.  I've worn it a lot since I got it in December and it's slowly showing some light fades in the wrinkles.
