Were no smalls produced or did you change the size labels due to how they came out?  Looks like I can probably do a M but just curious…and need to decide between this or the 101J.  Tough call!!!

No, because the OD process was going to shrink the fabric, so S would have ended up at XS which I def did not want.  As you say M should equal S

Very nice need.  @Alex, what's your height and chest, please?  Also, would @Giles go XL or XXL?

We think giles would go L: @Alex:

Giles is in China, so it is hard to know for certain - I usually am one size up from Giles and can button up the XL just fine with a UHF.

That said, I am sure that he could wear an XL, in a similar way to the two pics of me above both 'work' in different ways (albeit the sleeves definitely too short on an XL.
Over a T he would be an L, over an UHF, he may be an XL but we cannot know for sure at the moment.

@Signal11 For me the waist was perfect… a little bit of room but not so much that it would flap around. The chest was roomier but i was only wearing a T-shirt so that's also good news for me because i'd like the option to layer it with a jumper or a UHF.

            Hope that helps!

              Thanks @Sam
I think L is too snug for me. I am 6'1" with 42" chest and 32.5" waist.
              Maybe a small XL…

Lovely piece but likely to be too long on my 5'9" frame. I think I'll stick to "unmodified" jackets.

I think I preferred the XXL on @Alex …. XL seems a little short and makes his top half seem smaller than it is. Great looking jacket either way.

Also agree. The xl looks kinda tight on @Alex but the xxl looks perfect

I agree that the XXL is perfect on Alex, but I know type III purists like them a bit shorter.  Most of my UHFs are 29"-30", so I definitely prefer the little bit of extra length.

I prefer the extra length too. I like that IH offers modified type 3's

Just got the jacket in today. Love the fabric and fit. Only wondering still if anyone knows if this denim will stretch a bit. I am hoping it does so I can layer slightly. It would help if I lost the 20 lbs I want to as well…ha.

This is some tough denim, this seems rougher than the 25oz OD

I will second what Alex said, this denim will stretch.

Thanks guys. I kind of got quick feel for it with a simple hand stretch. My guy is the tightest area haha. Seeing how tough the jacket it, it will effectively do two things. 1) work as a girdle and 2) remind me harder to lose weight faster hahaha.

Beautiful jacket and the longer length works for me nicely. The sleeve width is like spot on for a fitted yet comfy look, some jackets are baggy as hell.

Looks great @Jordonf9.  I wasn't joking when I said that 19oz fabric is burly, feels so much heavier and tougher than 19oz.  That thing is going to fade so nicely.
