Anyone care to share some thoughts on Kiefer sneakers?
Basically I'm looking to replace a pair of John Lofgren SE high top sneakers, I wore a pair of the black ones for a year or two and loved them but I've found that they're just a bit too narrow for my feet (wish they came in 12).
My search has lead me to the new FW17 black canvas Kiefer, and I'm just wondering if I'm really that crazy to be considering these. 
Everything I've read leads me to believe they'll hold up well and are worth the asking price, just wanted to check and see if any of you guys had personal experience.

haven't had any keifer experience. but the collections of late has me picking only 1-2 items per season as  i felt it was rather forced. maybe try looking into skagway hi as well..

The new wool/linen skagway hi in black seem really nice, those are the two pairs I was looking at.

I have had a fair amount of Visvim over the years but never the Keifer. I personal couldn’t justify the price for what is essentially a copy of converse or at least close to it. Now if you were looking a FBT which is unique and to me something which I always think are cool. I would say go for it.

Admittedly I kind of hate the look of the FBT, just not my style personally.
I was just wondering if the Kiefer lived up to the rest of the Vis standard.
But I think I'm going to hold out for now since IH is working on some sneakers.

yeah me neither when i first started. but then i wore it and the look just clicked on with me. i've just got my 5th pair of fbt recently..

fair enough. i've never really looked at the skagway either because i couldn't justify the price like what most said. unless of course it's some boro or ict special dye ones.. then perhaps i'd consider. you don't really hear much about it either. i only know the foley-folk are highly rated amongst it's 'repro' trainer range because it's goodyear welted and you can replace the sole..

That's a great collection! I like the bottom left and bottom right corner boots best.

thanks. they were the older pairs from 12/13 i think.. the one on the right, the bison leather, i treasure the most. the one on the left has taken quite a beating, especially after a slight motorcycle accident..

Does anyone know if the Logan Lo and Logan Deck Lo have the same sizing?

@DrPat sadly no experience with sizing on the logans at all. with my experience from visvim, i'm good within a full size among all their shoes and boots. 8-9 will fit me without problems

those look good.  the elk leather they use it's super soft and comfy too!
