Dyson Vacuums…
After finally pulling the trigger on a vacuum last Christmas that cost more than a a damn UHF, ours bit the dust for good today.
While I doubt I will ever buy another one, I am thankful for Costco’s very “no questions asked” return policy.

We have ours for at least 5 Years and not even an Edge broke of, maybe you had bad luck or I had good look.

That's some bullshit right there Adam. That being said, we bit the bullet and bought one when we got our first house 6 years ago. We bought it fro, bed bath and beyond in case we had any issues. The first one we got had faulty pieces the we discovered upon assembling. BBB swapped it out and the second one had no problems out of the box. We got the pet model and as we have 3 dogs and it's still kicking. Probably not as strong as when we first got it given our frequency of use, but IMHO it was well worth the investment….and as you know with the price point on dysons, it's definitely an investment.
Sorry you got one that shitted out on you, but like you said Costco was a boss about it...

Sounds similar to our experience - sadly, we got one heck of a deal last year and they wouldn’t “swap it out” - but instead refunded and then we could rebuy for current price (about $80 more)… maybe the same offer will come out, but thinking of going old school again and just being kissed off the cheap vacuums suck (not very good mind you haha)
We also got the “animal” and it was a dream for about 3 months and then took a hard downturn... maybe I’ll try a different model and see if it was our use...

Same here. We have two Dysons, a regular model and a cordless one. Both still solid after several years of use. Relatively light use, I'll concede, but still worth the cost.

We received a Dyson DC35 as a wedding gift with all the accessories and that thing has been such a disappointment. The batteries last less than 5 minutes, the suction is terrible on it and it's just annoying because I know how much it cost. I bit the bullet and bought a Miele last year and it's a vastly different style of vacuum but it works amazingly well. Dyson will never see another dollar of my hard earned money…

Agreed. While I don’t buy their products myself. I have a buddy who just keeps buying their shite products regardless of how many times they beak and stop working.
Edit: country of origin: I use a mIele vacuum. GERMAN made. Works great. Been years. Those Germans I tell ya. Just a great bunch

I’ve had the same Miele since 1992,except for a few minor repairs,it’s like a cockroach you can’t kill it.
We bought a Miele vacuum in 2000. It still sucks the carpet off the floor…
