Anyone have experience on M-1951 fishtail parka (MJ17118) and the parka liner (MJ17119) in particular?

I've been thinking about getting the fishtail, and I have a couple of jackets I could use for layering but I'm also interested in the liner that was actually designed to go with the parka. I guess it's safe to assume that it'll work better together than a piece of clothing someone else made.

What do you think is  a„normal“ good price for a used M 65 jacket with signs of wearing?

I think it is a cool piece. The Flat Head has also done some similar pieces.  I don't know that I could pull any of them off, but they are cool.

I love pieces like that, but I always have to remind myself that the plainest items in my wardrobe get the most wear because of their versatility.  An eye-catching pattern like that is not something I would rock every day.  Especially with a jacket, I want to be able to wear it with every outfit, every day, if I feel like it.

I've been now looking for Buco or Toys McCoy Beck's boots or the real mccoys working boots but they've seem to only have up to 11 us size, anybody knows if they make 11uk/12 us size???, I searched hundreds of places mostly in japanese sites but found no answers, your help is appreciated.

I wear a US size 12 in most all sneakers.  I wear a 10.5 in Viberg 110 and 2045 last boots.  The McCoy size 11 N-1 field boots were at least a half size too big for me. From what I gather, they run a little bit big.  It seems that I would take an 11 in the Bear  Head boots.  I hope that helps.

I was lucky to pick this up on sale at burg und schild yesterday. Been lusting for them for years now. I dont regret a bit.
Might be my most worn piece of clothing.

@twin you definitively should. And have a coffee at father carpenter nearby.

Any of you own the N1 deck jacket? Curious why the hand warmer pockets sit so high on the jacket? I know RMC is a repro brand so maybe this had a practical use in the navy but I don't know what that is  😃 Seems like the pockets should sit lower to my eyes
