    @Dstauffer:

    Olive and brown would be my top two.

      Plus if you do olive and brown @Seul could rock a killer “Whip-its” tux  😉

      You won’t be satisfied until you wear Iron Heart.

        Type III's short, right?.. Not my cup of tea… I'd love an award jacket (IHJ-14) in corduroy (but know that won't happen)...

          You’d look boss in it!

            IHV-04, med.
            IHSH-185, large

              @neph93:

              I’m in for a whipcord type III. I’d go for khaki, brown or olive. Preferably not navy. I’d like some kind of lining and a cord collar please. But I am sort of high maintennance…

              Were you thinking something along the lines of the IHJ-61? that would look kinda cool.

                love the 29 but then it would look very much like the 61.

                  this. modified with more length in the body. that's the one thing i've always hated about type 3's is the short length since I wear my shirt untucked.

                    and I mentioned this before but a lighter weight whipcord cpo would look cool too.

                        I’ve always been a staunch fan of the trad Type III’s because I felt they suited my body type better, but my 533 has shown me that the longer versions work too.

                        Sooooo, lined, olive whipcord, modified type III it is then…  (?)

                            Lined would be sick as fuck…I would just fear if the lining is too heavy (ie blanketed or quilt) it would be unwearable for a big chunk of the year, but it might be super awesome too!

                            What about a HH collar?

                              lined could be a good thing or a bad thing. my only fear with lining is that it might render the type 3 kinda poofy.

                              as for collar types, I think a cord collar or even a moleskin collar would better suit the type 3 imho.

                                Moleskin would be pretty sweet….the cord collar has been done a couple times with IH jackets, most recently with the 61 work jacket, so it might be nice to see some variance....

                                  I think a cord collar works better with a type 3. plus, if it's windy/cold out and you want to flip your collar upwards, the leather would be cold on your neck.

                                    Yes, another vote for a modified longer version type III.  Olive and Brown whipcord modified type III

                                      Brown whipcord modified type III would be a definite for me.  Please tonal on the handwarmer pockets, if not everywhere.

                                        If we do this, it'll be an olive whipcord modified type III, possibly with a cord collar and cord lined handwarmers….
