I've been wearing these a lot since it's cooler weather. One of my favored fit of IH and still the toughest bottoms of IH you can get. Surprised not to see more fades compared to the loom breakers but they coming and starting to look good.

My pair are actually in for tapering. Never had it done before and as a general principle don't and won't in the future. But seeing as these were less expensive from the Outlet and that duck is an easier fix for my seamstress, then I thought I'd give it a shot. I'll be picking them up this week…

After wearing all my IH recently and the weight I put on(sadly due to the accident, will be losing it in the next few weeks….ha) I think these are my favorite IH to wear as they are broken in now, which makes them nice and comfy compared to the first few weeks of wear haha.

Plus the fades this fabric produces, is second to none.

Can't believe they don't plan on keeping on producing a fabric like this, lighter or heavier in weight.

would love to see a lighter weight duck… it creases and wears like a much heavier denim would, but would be easier to wear in hotter weather, etc.

Do you have any of the 16/17oz duck? I find it quite cool and I use my 666D as summer pants. It's not that warm where I live though… [emoji1]

                  Key words  😉

I'm with you @wavehead, some lighter weight duck would be a great idea.  The 16/17oz stuff is awesome but strictly for winter where I live.

I used these as my summer work pants here in the PNW. It’s just about time for something warmer now days tho

Thanks for suggesting these @Brock . I use these as my pants for the colder weather.

When I showed photos of these jeans to my colleagues, they started thinking of me as the guy who wears these crazy, "standing jeans". Well, they haven't seen my Ultra Heavy Raws. 🙂

Thanks! I think the 634-DD had the highest thigh measurements for the 634 cut. Plus, it is inky dark.

These, in size 35 are a big reason for me to lose the weight I put on the past not having and half. Quite snug to say the least, I also grabbed the last 36 for years once I destroy the 35s.

@Giles I wear a size 32 in 711's and 717's.  What size do you recommend for me in these?  33?  or 34 with a pre soak/wash?

Comparing measurements, I’d say both will work but it depends on whether you like a fitted or relaxed top block. A W33 634DD will end up around 32.5” post wash, and will stretch a little with wear probs to 33”.
