@budpatch  I see you are at the Palmer House Hilton. It has the best lobby around. Stayed here many times.

@twin you are correct, sir!  I do love the Palmer house lobby, great fresco work.

Stuff I shared with some good friends this weekend. I've learned my lesson on how quickly Grey Monday (and other weekday Bruery stuff) catches up to you, so I took a very small pour and gave a couple friends more than a reasonable serving.  😃

Particularly enjoyed Feral One this time around. That beer has a ton of subtle, tasty stuff going on. Too bad I had to split a 375 5 ways!

@Jett129  BA with coffee beans and vanilla is a winning combo. I really like the drier stouts too. Sounds delicious!

@Seul, if we're sampling, we go in what we loosely consider least to most intense, flavor wise. All the IPAs I drink tend to be juicy and refreshing, so those usually comes first. Bruery weekdays are so intense that they blow most everything else out and usually have to go last. I once had some Bruery anniversary beer (usually quite intense) after something like Chocolate Rain or Black Tuesday, and it honestly tasted like water.

I always have a hard time drinking a stout after a sour… An IPA might be a good palate cleanser, as they say...

                Either way: I don't really do samples/ tastings/ flights/ festivals/...

Had a pretty stupid day, hate my job, can't seem to find another one, etc., etc.
But, I found this at the store and it made it all better.
Bruery x Jester King Bouffon. Super damn tasty. If I've got half a brain I'll go back and buy two more bottles.

Sorry about the job, but glad to hear it on Bouffon! I've been looking forward to that when I can pick some up!

No worries, just gotta get on about it and find something new.
I'm definitely going to pick up another bottle, it was under $11 and totally worth it.
I still have a bottle of the original Bruery collab Imperial Cabinet, to this day might be my favorite beer of all time.

Beers with a few friends last night. Mikkeller Red Room, Cascade 2011 Elderberry, and Mikkeller Spontanyuzu. The 3rd is such an interesting beer. I've had it a few times, but the bright citrus punch always surprises me.

It's the same with the poster… First you think he's an oaf, then you realise he's just a dick...
