I think the prequels were better than the sequel, and both are inferior to Rogue.
let me understand this. you're of the opinion that "attack of
jar jar binksclones." was better than force awakens? wait a minute… is that you george lucas? you old bouffanted trickster. The prequels had a lot more innovative worlds and spaceships, an internally consistent story that was also compatible with ep. IV - VI, and compelling characters. Yes, there were a few holes here and there, and yes the dialogues were shitty.
The sequel has 0 innovation (Death Star, again, X-wings, again, Tie Fighters, again, main plot is about destroying the death star, again), the continuation of the empire makes no sense whatsoever, and the emotional high note relies on (spoiler) ….
... killing the most cherished of the original characters. Also, the death star ray going through hyperspace is not consistent with the (fantasy) science underpinning all the previous movies.
Oh George, you slay me.

I don't agree about the quality of the prequels, but the man's not wrong about why The Force Awakens sucked.

I just don’t agree. That’s ok though.

Just watched Brawl in cell block 99 with Vince Vaughn. Well worth a viewing and here's the trailer . . . .

I liked Vince Vaughn in True Detective season 2. He's much better at drama than comedy imo

I liked Vince Vaughn in True Detective season 2.
You're joking, right?.. Sure: he was fed the most in(s)ane lines by Pizzolatto, but he was absolutely horrible… I remember everyone agreeing with that whilst it was airing as well...

I disagree. I think everybody was expecting a repeat of season 1, hence the poor reviews of season 2. Vaughn did an exceptional job as a 'bad guy' who was morally ambiguous. His arc was interesting to me and I felt bad for his character's demise. Curious to see what season 3 brings to the table.

Yeah that was an unfair end for him.

Season two of True Detective was a lot better than the critics would have it, and certain things with it were great. I wouldn't say VV was one of them, but he wasn't as awful as he was painted to be.
Agreed. I think viewers were too hung up on how great season 1 was that they wrote off season 2. I thought s2 was good for what it was.

I've re-watched s01 three times and there are some great moments and I could watch MM all day in that role, but you're dead right Seul, it ended weakly. As far as S02 goes I think the McAdams/Farrel pairing was awesome and I was genuinely sad about the fate of the Farrell character. It was well played. It was a hot mess at times with some poor scripting but I enjoyed it.

^^ after watching each episode ten times I began to get critical. But when I watched that for the first time?? I was enthralled.
MM was great but Woody deserves just as much credit. That dude played a washed up HS football star turned detective like an absolute pro. That role is the exact oposite of his real life self. He’s a pot head vegan who lives in the jungle on Maui. They both deserved an award for that show

I've watched these over the last couple of months…..
Baby Driver.......light hearted fun movie.
Blade Runner (original)..... Bit Boring but will go and see the new one.
Gold.........Really enjoyed this, some good music and based on a true story
The Founder...... another one based on a true story about the start and rise of Mcdonald's.
