Guardians of the Galaxy 2: 8/10
I enjoyed it. Drax was the highlight for me as I thought he brought a lot of laughs to the story. "My turds are famously huge."
i was a little disappointed. drax was the highlight for sure. i felt like i was watching actors with an animated background. i know CGI is used in all films but this film really pushed it to another level.

I just got back from Blade Runner. Meh. It was more eye candy than plotline.
Truth! Looked stunning but the story was stretched out about 40 minutes too long.

^ was waayyy too long for my liking. quite a few scenes just dragged well beyond their need for me.

Why, why, WHYYYYY?!?!?!?!
I've already lost hope in this movie, and I was SO looking forward to it.

It's called "Disneyfication" ::)

I've already lost hope in this movie, and I was SO looking forward to it.The EXACT same scene and the EXACT same reaction from me. Tempted to not go see it now, have been nothing but let down..might just stick to reading

It's called "Disneyfication" ::)
Because Star Wars never resorted to 'cute' creatures as comic relief before Disney?

Hmmmmm….the eye roll emoji seems to be broken

I'm in agreement with @dylantbmayes here. There's always been an element of child friendly characters in SW, just look at R2D2 and the jawas in ep.4 ffs. One (admittedly horrendous) misstep in the form of Mr. Binks and the gungans in general does not mean SW can't ever be kids friendly again, but there were an enormous amount of things with the prequels that were fucking dire, not just Jar Jar.
I can't for the life of me understand why people are ragging on the new trilogy. It's not meant to be high brow, it's meant to be fun. It's a million miles away from the prequels and the silliness is balanced by some new ideas, as well as some great referencing for us old heads. One space hamster does not a shit movie make.

Exactly right.

Ok, to be expressly clear, the roll eyes was to signify what the "haters" ( to use the vernacular of youth) say. Maybe Internet sarcasm is dead if it has to be explained ???

I think 40 minutes too long is generous for Blade Runner. I looked at my watch about a dozen times. How many uncomfortable silences and close ups were there?
They panned over the city enough times I think I could draw a map just from memory.
I don't know what that screaming thing on the Star Wars trailer is, but I want two.
