    Im breaking mine in right now… forget how 25oz feels when your trying to break it in. The only problem is everything else feels loose when you put them on. I'm going to have a tough choice when the DWC starts, do I stick with these or go with the DWC jeans?

    I'd go with something with a white weft.
    Aren't they extremely difficult to wear?  They're almost ridiculous to break in.

    They aren’t ridiculous to break in at all. Heavy? Yes. Hot? Sometimes. Awesome. Fek yes. I find them softer (at first) than the 18 oz II. Don’t fear the 25oz. Tackle it.

    Maybe so. Maybe not

      I just ordered me a large pair o 40. Hoping for a slghtly smaller size in WB, but other than waist, the numbers are all awesome. Finally get to have this beautiful denim!

                      I can't really remember, but I think it's 3 machine washes at the most. Due another soon though.

                                    Hi everyone… @Joephoto just sold me his PIH5DCS. They haven't seen water. They currently sit at 35" Inseam, I eventually want a 33" Inseam... What's everyone's recommendation for these?... Get any shrink out of the way, wear them a bit to get the creases set, then hem?

                                    Really interested to hear if these shrink like the regular 25oz.

                                      @Mnbiker Great score!!

                                      IMO if you want them hemmed, get it done. I didn't get any shrink in the inseam on mine after a cold soak and this fabric takes a fair amount of wear before you're going to get any noticeable crease below the knees, if that's what you're after.  My pair are just starting to stack proper around the ankles after 6ish months of intermittent wear.  I didn't hem mine.

                                      No matter what, you picked a great pair to rock!  😎

                                        I was and dry my jeans freely,so I had them hemmed accordingly. I haven’t measured,but I’m guessing I got about an inch shrinkage in the length,and they’re absolutely perfect for me. If you don’t plan on washing and or putting them into a drier then you can just have them hemmed and allow a little for when the combs form. I think Giles once said about half an inch.

                                          Soak to get all shrinkage out, then hem. The .5” you loose with settling isn’t really an issue.
