I wanted an "regular" N-1 in brown, but they're so common in our niche of the fashion world, I decided on this instead. And, the hood is a much needed feature here in wet, dreary England. Now, I've just got to fit it in to my budget, lol

Super warm, especially with a loopwheel tee and an ultra heavy flannel. Worn here with PBJs, Alden color 4 shell wingtip boots, and, most importantly, a backwards trucker hat from Leoda's Maui, the best pie shop I've ever been to.

Even better! My buddy wanted to try it on the other day and then he was super pissed that I bought the last medium.  He also didn't believe me that it was under $1000. It's that good of a jacket. Hard to say, but this is maybe my favorite thing I own from IH.

Anyone has any experience wearing this during a heavy rainshower? How does it do?

Well, it's not super waterproof. light rain is no Problem, but it will soak in really heavy rain over time and will take Long to dry. Maybe waxing the outside would solve that. But I think it will mostly be worn when it snows instead of raining.
