Ok team, I'm starting this with a BOOM!

09/27/2017 (sorry to all my European friends, the jeans are in America now… [emoji12])

The 888 prototypes landed in good ole Alabama today, so I wanted to go ahead and get a decent update started for you guys.

My day pretty much consisted of cos bing a few sessions (more on that later), sitting on a conference call (sadly, probably more of that as well), picking up the twins from their nanny, and heading to the UPS store to grab the WTJ (world tour jeans from here on out).

The kids were not as excited as I was to have the glorious WTJ in their possession…

Dropped off some new bands at the gym:

Came home and enjoyed a Founders IPA:

Packed the kids lunch boxes for pre-school tomorrow

And now the moment you all have been waiting for:

        …more in Part 2

          09/27/2017 Part 2:

Gave the WTJ a decent iron to get them into tip top shape, and gave them a try…

Now, the measures are definitely on the slim side of small for me, but I don't think they are terrible. Aside from some tightness towards the waistband (IPAs be damned!) they are actually pretty comfy:

Gav and Giles both sent proper British commodities along with the WTJ:

I also received a pretty kick ass care package from a recent transaction with a forum member, so I pulled out the leather care gear and while I was reconditioning those items (shown a few pics below), I also gave my Red Wings a refresh for the season.

I wore them to a concert last night, Band of Horses, so they were kinda nasty:

Bonus pic of the band from last evening (they were AWESOME by the way):

The result of the Iron Ranger refresh:

I also received my first ever pair of Vibergs today, and gave them an all over conditioning treatment. I also got a nicely worn IHB-?, so I cleaned and conditioned both in prep for putting the hurt (doubtful) on them this fall:

Decided to kick off the tour by finishing off my bottle of Clyde Mays Alabama Whiskey. It's "alright" but pretty mellow and easily drinkable.

Since my dumbass dosnt have enough going on already (more on that later as well), I figured I'd get my real estate license…

So I'm fishing off the night going through some of my coursework while the kids are asleep and the wife is playing volleyball:

Anyways… I'll try to give a FULL day of fun tomorrow, but the temps are still so high here, the jeans might not accompany me to 5:30am training sessions tomorrow AM [emoji23]

Cheers everyone, glad to have the honor of kicking off the tour!

          Adam

Since I figured by the end of the tour, the stitching in the pockets will be LONG gone, I figured I would document that they did, in fact, begin in proper shape:

I'm going to stipulate another tour condition here. When you pass on a chocolate bar you have to post an interesting fact or anecdote about why you sent that particular bar. Here's mine….

In the US Cadburys chocolate is now made under license by Hershey's, to their recipe rather than Cadburys. Since the change it has been made extremely difficult to get real Cadburys in the US, and American chocolate lovers have described Hershey's version as "virtually inedible".

Killer!  Im going to do my best to bring Broark some chocolate made in Downtown Mobile. Maybe even some chocolate covered strawberries if he is nice [emoji2]

And I agree - I can't believe I have lived 29 years and never had "jelly popping chocolate," or this amazingness I'm enjoying now…

Thanks man - I really like the cut, but I think I would get a 38 in the first run of these from IHUK.

Day 2 with the WTJs started with my having to wake up early on my "late morning" and cover for one of my employees who was sick:
                                (This is AM)

                                Made some coffee:

                                Mmmmmm

Then headed to open up the Gym:

Today's workout for my gen pop clients:

Made some breakfast at the gym (pretty decent actually, and on sale at whole food last week):

Left the gym and took the twins to preschool and came home and cooked breakfast.

                                  First, made more coffee:

Enjoyed some of the Kanreki Jam Giles sent (delicious BTW!):

                                  Got cleaned up:

Took a break from designing emails to oil up some
Patches in prep for the fall:

Went and picked up the dogs from the groomers and came home to show off their fall makeovers:

Went back to the gym and coached classes for the rest of the night:

BONUS pic of the beaches we market (pic from my co-worker):

                                  Until tomorrow!

                                  Cheers,

Today started off about the same as yesterday, except for the fact that I didn't pre-load my
Coffee maker, and was running a bit later than I should have:

Had to go the traditional route of gas station cafe au lait and canned espresso

Luckily, I had some good tunes to set the mood for the day:

Opened up the gym again this AM, and this was in tap for our athletes:

Hitting a 10ft target is easy when you are 6'5:

One of my coaches came in to relieve me at 9:30, so I could make a run to the bank and make deposits… it was obviously payday for some people lol

Luckily, I was able to come home and get cleaned up and out on proper clothing for the day (WTJ included):

My sister in law is in town from Seattle, so we went to lunch. I had a salmon salad with hot bacon dressing:

                                            …continued...
