Akuma- I had the XL in the workshirt and it was too tight, even after a few wears - fabric didn't stretch much - completely different than a UHF - I would get the XXL and dry if needdd

I'd go XXL and wash at 30C, then 40C then 50C stopping when you get the shrinkage you require

What effect would a very hot wash have on the Indigo fabric? Are there any washed out 170s yet?

Wow, pretty boxy fit for a western; it's not going to work for me. That sucks, I was super excited, but for me to fit my (not that big) shoulders in would mean way to much room in the trunk.  😢

Edit: In fact it looks like it's more boxy than the 170 workshirt (looking at PtP vs. shoulder measurements).

Looks like the chest comes up slightly wider than a lot of westerns, but don't forget to check the waist and opening. That's where the "fit" is.

Yeah my 170 is by far my best fitting work shirt, it's damn near a western fit.  Fits better than my 129 western.

I'm just saying that the 193 is boxyer than other recent western, and in fact it's boxyer than the 170. I'm not saying it's not going to be a flattering fit for some people.

(As a side note, the waist of the 193 is also looser in relation to the shoulders than that of the 170 workshirt.)

I know, and you're right, the middle looks wide in relation to the shoulders and the length and the measurements are different to other western cuts. It'll be interesting to see the fit pics. Winchy looks great in his.

I could fit a large, but would need another inch in the shoulders.  😞

Thanks. Yeah. If it was unwashed like the Kanreki I figure it would have already been mentioned. Thanks.

I should mention that a hot wash will probably still cause some shrinkage, regular washing, 30-40C won't.

I read somewhere that these are cut like Ihsh 129, i tried these on and couldn't make the fit look good on me.

When my time comes I want to be buried face down. That way whoever doesn’t like me can kiss my ass.

The fabric is like the 129's a non brushed flannel, but the 193 is cut differently. You can just compare the measurement charts. The 193 is going to have much more room in the trunk than the 129. For those who found the 129 too tight, this is going to be a great choice.
