Yup, I love the two way zipper for outerwear. I even went to the trouble of tracking one down once (found it on etsy!) so I could have a tailor retrofit my favorite hoodie.

^ agree with the two way zipper consensus. It really is a game changer…

You won’t be satisfied until you wear Iron Heart.

I chatted to H.  We are likely to do 2-way zippers in future.  Possibly too late for this Fall/Winters batch…..

I'm guessing it's been brought up….but tapering service for guys like I. Instead of sending our jeans to RCFG for the service...right from you guys would be killer. Though he 888 cut sort of fixes future releases, not a fix for denim that might not ever be introduced to the cut.

@gautamkrisna I saw the post to this effect in:

                    http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=37.0

The first post includes this sentence:

We can't guarantee we'll listen and we may be so rude we that don't even reply, but we do read every suggestion.

So I did see it and I did read it, but the suggestion fell on stony ground.

Proffering the same suggestion in another thread won't make it any more likely to happen especially when the original post got no member support.

If I ask 100 member's to articulate their perfect cut, I'll likely get 101 answers.

So, I have to steer a sensible course, trying to satisfy the maximum number of people, whilst minimising investment in both working capital and warehouse space.

larger cut/size tops across the board. i know ive said his before and had it explained to me before that vendors had no interest. however i dont see how someone who needs a size 40, 42 or 44 bottom can fit into an ironheart top. and if your supplying us bottoms…. well we,d like tops as well. cheers.

42 and 44 jeans sell - SLOWLY, but eventually they will likely move.

XXXL tops are usually the last to sell, which means demand just ain't really there.  I know that you "husky" guys find that hard to believe, but empirically, it's true.

Take the IHSH-192 as an example.  We only had about 40 shirts, so this serves as an accelerated example of what usually happens.  We took, 1 x XS, 4 x XXXL and the rest, a bell curve in between.

This morning, 4 days after release, we had 2 XXXL left and nothing else.  I suspect if I had taken 4 x XXXXL, we would still have 2 or 3 left now…..

A hip measurement (a la rivet & hide) for all currently available bottoms would be extremely helpful. One could get an idea of how tight or loose the entire topblock will feel.

I'd like the shirts shoulder measurements to be done seam to seam on a straight line. There's really no reason to do a side trip by the collar …

Precisely.  When I spec a shirt I need my measurements to be done exactly as they do them in Japan otherwise I have to keep 2 measurements to hand which is a) more effort b) risky.

Nor will we be adding a hip measurement…In 10 years we've been asked for it 3 times.  Plus the way we run the compare sizing option, we try and make sure that the same measurements are on the same line so that the compare is easy.  If we add hip measurements to new products going forward, we screw that up, so the only alternative is to go back and measure every size/model and update all the measurement tables.  1) we do not have time 2) we do not have all the size/models of extinct items to compare.

And guess what?  If you email us and ask for the hip measurements of a few pairs of jeans, we'll happily provide those.

Have you ever thought about covering the seam of the neckline and shoulders?
Wearing a backpack feels a little bit uncomfortable.
As the fabric is very flexible and a cover is not possible, what about flat stitched seams?
