Maybe my slightly less unpopular opinion; I do not think NB sneakers look good in general either.

Totally with you on this.  when/why the hell did NB's become "cool" again?!!  I think 99% of them are ugly, although I will say that if they are that comfortable then that does go a long way and will maybe grant someone a free pass for wearing them.

Ok, I'll attempt to take some of the pressure off of @UnTucked here….

For the most part...I don't like Indigo denim shirts...at all.  I also can't really stand the look of an indigo denim shirt paired with blue jeans...yes the Canadian Tux.

I will await the throwing of the stones.

When were NB cool the first time?  Happily, I must have missed that era.  They're consistently the worst looking athletic shoes of any major brand.

Many years ago, when I sold shoes, I found that appearance and comfort were inversely proportionate, so when customers asked my opinion on a hideous shoe's appearance, my standard response was, "they're very comfortable."

The arch support and the varied widths and the made in UK, all solid justifications for NB, at least back in the day. The 992 and the 576 variations were useful

Lol. I wear NB 574's for their comfort not necessarily their looks. Having worn other brands like Puma, Converse and Adidas I can say NB can take a beating and not mess up my feet at the same time.

Good point, they never were.  Should have left out the "again".

These days I almost exclusively wear Nike Roshe Run. They are hands don the most comfortable thing I have ever had on my feet, they were design inspired by the simplicity of a Japanese Zen garden…..and they are ugly as fook  😉

Unpopular opinion with me. But only because Rugby Union is a far superior game to Rugby League.

I don't get the love for NB's either. I have one pair of 1500's and the tongue always slips to the side and the toe box shape always plays havoc with my OCD.
Same goes for Asics, whoever managed to get people in to thinking they were cool is a fucking marketing genius.
