It's a fantastic. It takes a bit of time to set it up to the grind you like but after that it's perfect. It's not cheap but as something you use every day it will last a lifetime.

Could someone recommend me a good burr grinder for 2-6 coffee drinkers?

Fuck that, I love Cold Brew, its great with tonic.
Anyone else into coffee x tonic? What I had in the last time: Espresso Tonic (Cafe), Ristretto Tonic (Cafe), Cold Brew Tonic (at home) and Iced Coffee on Tonic (at home). Its a great Summer-Drink.

New Cold Brew is in the making.
40g coarse coffee and 400ml water, 10 to 12 hours. Filter through Kalita 185.

I've recently seen some recipes for cold brew/bourbon cocktails that kind of peaked my interest. Problem is don't really like cold brew.

Stupid question but so you just fill the basin with ice and pour over as usual?

I do it in a Chemex as well but prefer the aeropress for that.

If you use lets say 300g of water for the pour over, just use 150g and let it drip on 150g ice inside the Chemex. Its really that easy.

Yes,Just fill the basin with ice,but the amount of ice will have an effect on the taste. You have to experiment. In the end the combination of the melted ice and the water equals the same water to coffee ratio as if you had brewed it normally. There are quite a few videos on YouTube. I have a coffee scoop that I've been using forever and I,at this point, know exactly how many scoops to use. My brother in law keeps telling me to weigh the coffee, just in case, I loose the scoop.

@Anesthetist I thought I was crazy for preferring the iced coffee at St. Louis Bread Company over most cold brews that I've had, which to me often taste like house paint smells. At least @JCMx800 is with me.
