Seen Deadmans shoes a few times, a great movie and Paddy is brilliant.
….....On another note "wheres your tool, what fucking tool......this fucking tool"... well said Raymond.
If you want some light hearted humour featuring Ray....'Final Cut' and 'Love honour and Obey'.

just finished watching The Girl With All The Gifts and The Expendables. TGWATG was ok for a zombie movie. I at least thought the concept was interesting enough for that genre. The Expendables was just good blow 'em up action goodness.

Just walked of out "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" as Jules was so bored. I could have stayed until the end but for that reason only. Not one of Bessons best [emoji107]

So bored and the woman next to me had some weird sniffing affliction, the film was so tedious that I ended up counting the seconds in between sniffs.. before walking out [emoji1361]

that's unfortunate. I love Besson's work, but a lot of the reviews I had read gave Valerian similar marks, namely that is sucked.

C'mon, Fifth Element and Leon The Professional are classics
-
Leon is one of my favourite films.

I watched Underworld: Blood Wars lastnite. It was marginally less shit than the previous one, but still shit. It was free from the library so what can I say?
-
Leon was good…..that's about it.

Try "The Big blue" a cracker of a movie by Luc Besson;

^ now that's another brilliant film

Leon was good…..that's about it.
If you haven't watched La Femme Nikita you aren't qualified to make that call. Tour de force, I promise.

I saw A Ghost Story on Monday. It's an interesting, weird little film, which features Casey Affleck under a sheet for more of its runtime.
I enjoyed it, though it's a little slow through the first act. With the references to the enormity of time in the marketing and reviews, I thought that it might have gone all Last and First Men, but it went a different way.
Here's an interview with the director David Lowery from The Guardian.

I caught A Monster Calls today. It's about a boy with a dying mother, and a monster. It's a good film, but brought up a few emotions from losing mine a couple of years ago.
The Independent has a review of Shin Godzilla, which has just opened in the UK. I saw it last year, and it's a weird take on a Kaiju movie. Worth seeing.
